Village Playgroup is a welcoming community for children aged 0–5 and the people who care for them. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, nanny or other carer, we'd love to welcome you.
We know that caring for young children is one of life's greatest joys—but it can also be challenging. Playgroup is a place to slow down, build friendships and connect with others in a similar season of life, while your little one enjoys learning, playing and exploring.
When is it?
Village Playgroup meets every Tuesday during school term from 10:00am–11:30am at Village Church, on the corner of Johnston and Booth Streets, Annandale.

What can I expect?
Each week begins with Junior Jivers, our fun music and movement program featuring singing, dancing, music makers and fun. Every term explores a new theme, with a different adventure each week.
After Junior Jivers, children enjoy free play in a safe and welcoming environment while carers have the opportunity to connect over morning tea. We also share a short, age-appropriate story that introduces children to Christian values such as kindness, gratitude and God's love.
Whether we're indoors or making the most of our fully enclosed garden playground, our hope is that every child has fun, every carer feels genuinely welcomed, and everyone leaves a little more connected than when they arrived.
Your first visit
We'd love to welcome you to Village Playgroup!
Playgroup costs $4 per session, with your first visit completely free so you can come along, meet the team and see if it's the right fit for you and your little one.
Payment can be made by card using Square on the day or online.
New to playgroup? Don't worry if your child is shy, busy, or has a wobbly morning—we know that's all part of life with little ones! We'll be there to welcome you.
