Today at Village we turn to one of the Old Testament's most famous moments, when God rescues his people from slavery to the Egyptians.Before the rescue God instructs his people to commemorate the rescue every year - celebrating when God passed over the Israelites and judged the Egyptians.Today we celebrate an even greater rescue, when God rescued us from slavery to sin, through the sacrifice of Jesus.
