They would have said that after Adam sinned in the garden in Genesis 3.But they would have said it in Israel after David's sin, in taking Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11.We resume our series in 2 Samuel today, opening up the confronting passage of 'David and Bathsheba'. There are important lessons about power, abuse, cover up.It's even more confronting because till now David has been our hero. But it can never be the same.And yet somehow God uses sinful people to bring about his plans and purposes for the world.
